Section Principal Trumpet (труба)

This Position is only open to Australian citizens and permanent residents and New Zealand citizens.

Auditions will be held in Brisbane on 5th and 6th May 2020. Applicants are required to be available for both days and an accompanist will be provided.

SHORTLISTING
Applicants may be required to attend a Shortlisting round which will be held on Tuesday 5 May 2020. Applicants required for Shortlisting auditions must be available for the whole day.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Set works (to be performed with piano accompaniment)

Henri Tomasi Trumpet Concerto
• 1st movt
Haydn Trumpet Concerto
• 1st movt (without cadenza)
• 2nd movt

+ Orchestral excerpts (to be performed solo)

Orchestral excerpts are available for applicants upon request. Please email recruit@qso.com.au for a copy.

RECORDED AUDITIONS
QSO encourages all applicants to audition live in person. However, recorded auditions will be accepted as Audio-Video only and must be received by QSO by close of business Monday 27 April 2020.
