Lecturer, Artist in Residence, or Professor of Practice in Violin (педагог по скрипке)

The candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate private students; coach chamber music ensembles; collaborate with faculty and students in concert; recruit undergraduate and graduate students; and engage in a robust performance career. Additional responsibilities may include advising undergraduate and graduate students; serving as committee member for graduate exams or recitals; and serving as advisor or committee member for graduate theses. Chair administrative work may be required, as well as engaging in professional and university service, and building and maintaining professional relationships with orchestral directors in area schools.
Master of Music degree (or professional equivalent); a minimum of five years professional performance experience in solo and chamber settings with international recognition and a strong commitment to the music of living composers; a record of excellence and innovation in instructional activities at the university level.
