The Norwegian Radio Orchestra, nicknamed Kork, belongs to the entire Norwegian nation. We visit frequently big and small places all around the country and perform music for all kinds of audiences. NRK headquarter in Oslo is, however, the home of the 54 piece orchestra. No musical genre is a stranger to Kork and we contribute on all grand media events such as Maestro, the viewers and listeners Request concerts, the traditional Christmas concert of our TV channels and of course the important national events; celebrational or in mourning.
