Alternating Principal, 2. Violin (скрипка)

Finnish National Opera Orchestra announces audition for
Alternating Principal 2. violin
Permanent position starting on August 1, 2020, or by agreement

Audition will take place at Finnish National Opera on Monday, 20th April 2020.

Required pieces:
Mozart: Violin Concerto no. 3 in G major or no. 4 in D major or no. 5 in A major;
1st movement with cadenza
1st movement from any of the following Violin Concertos:
Bartók 2, Beethoven, Brahms, Dvořák, Nielsen, Mendelssohn e minor, Prokofiev 2, Sibelius, Tchaikovsky

The link to sheet music of orchestra excerpts will be sent by e-mail after the closing date. An accompanist will be provided but candidates may bring their own pianist if they so desire.
