Audition’s date : Auditions will be held 7th March 2022, from 10 am, on the stage of Dijon Grand Theater, 2 rue Longepierre - 21000 Dijon
Deadline to register : 28th February 2022
Following the terms prescribed by the CCNEAC, salary grid for chorus singers (French collective bargaining agreement for art institutions).
The job vacancy starts on 7th April 2022.
The day of audition will be divided in three different parts: one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening.
1st round
- An opera aria in original version preferably amongst the following composers: Bellini, Berlioz, Donizetti, Gounod, Massenet, Mozart, Rossini, Verdi, Weber
- A choir part of the choir score of: Abstract from Giuseppe Verdi’s Requiem
- The Rossini’s vocalization
2nd round:
- Two choir parts of choir scores: Abstract from Francis Poulenc’s “Quatre petites prières de Saint François d’Assise”; Abstract from Giuseppe Verdi ‘s “Nabucco” (see enclosure)
- Decoding of a melody or abstracts from an opera choir or oratorio.
The candidate will have 5 minutes to prepare this test.
3rd round:
- Rehearsal with the choir:Working with men’s voices and then with the whole bass choir, under the musical direction of the choir master for the following abstracts: Abstract from Jean-Sébastien Bach’s“ St-Matthew’s Passion”; Abstract from Maurice Ravel’s “L’enfant et les sortilèges” J
- Interview with jury members
